2014-2015 M 8000 standard models have a long gas tank that has a place to install the battery
2014-2016 M 8000 Sno Pro, Limited, and HCR models have a short gas tank that do not have a place to intall the battery
The Electric Start kit can be used on 2014-2016 M 8000 Sno Pro, Limited, and HCR models but it will also require adding the long gas tank and seat so there is somewhere to mount the battery
